About Rutgers HOPE

The Rutgers University Center for Health Outcomes, Policy, and Economics partners with scientists, clinicians and stakeholders from academia, pharmaceutical, biotech, and other marketplace innovators to conduct interdisciplinary research that produces relevant, meaningful health outcomes, economic models and analyses to facilitate the adoption of cost-effective healthcare and improve patient outcomes.

Program and Structure

The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University, part of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, partners with Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine through the Scientific Evidence and Policy Research (SEPR) team to offer a fellowship focused on real world evidence, health economics, and outcomes research. Fellowship Experience Includes:

  • Designing and supporting real world studies focused on patient outcomes, health economics, and policy relevant evidence
  • Conducting literature reviews, database analyses, and health economic and comparative effectiveness research
  • Collaborating with cross functional industry teams while completing up to three graduate level courses through Rutgers
