PhD & Advanced-Degree Research Fellowships
Advanced training in industry-based evidence generation
Accordion Content
HOPE’s PhD and advanced-degree fellowships are designed for researchers seeking advanced, applied training in the generation and translation of evidence within the pharmaceutical industry.
Fellows work onsite with industry research teams on high-priority questions involving real-world evidence, comparative effectiveness, health economics, patient outcomes, market access, and health policy. Through close mentorship from industry scientists and Rutgers faculty, fellows strengthen their ability to frame decision-relevant questions, design rigorous studies, analyze real-world data, and communicate findings to scientific and nontechnical audiences.
Depending on the program, the experience may also include Rutgers graduate coursework, seminars, teaching and peer-review opportunities, independent research, conference participation, and manuscript development.
